Liverpool could reportedly move for Napoli attacker Lorenzo Insigne this summer if the club are unable to agree a deal for Bayern Munich's Kingsley Coman.
The Reds have allegedly identified Coman as a leading transfer target, with head coach Jurgen Klopp keen to boost his attack ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.
However, Bayern could ultimately price the France international out of a move, and according to Italian journalist Fabio Santini, the Merseyside giants are also showing an interest in Insigne.
The 30-year-old has scored twice in five appearances for Italy at Euro 2020, while he has netted 109 times in 397 appearances for Napoli over the last 11 years.
Insigne's current deal in Naples is due to expire next summer, though, and it is thought that he wants an improvement on his current £4.3m-a-year deal in order to sign an extension.
Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur are also believed to be interested in signing the Italian during this summer's transfer window and have allegedly already been in contact with his agent. body check tags ::
