Liverpool are reportedly considering a swoop for Newcastle United defender Daryl Janmaat at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old joined the Magpies last summer after featuring in the Netherlands' run to the 2014 World Cup semi-finals, where they were beaten by Argentina.
According to the Daily Star, the Reds are eyeing Janmaat as a replacement for Glen Johnson, whose contract at Anfield is set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
Despite the Dutch right-back being tied to a six-year deal with the Toon Army, Liverpool are still said to be considering a summer move for the ex-Feyenoord star.
However, the Merseysiders are thought to be facing competition from fierce rivals Manchester United for his signature.
