Fenerbahce are reportedly ready to rival Liverpool in the race to sign Real Betis defender Aissa Mandi.
Despite Betis's below-par La Liga campaign, Mandi generally made a positive impact during his 29 starts in Spain's top flight.
While Betis would prefer to retain the services of the Algeria international, the 28-year-old has just one year left on his contract.
Although Liverpool are currently regarded as the favourites to sign Mandi, A Spor claims that Fenerbahce have launched a bid for the player.
The report says that the Turkish outfit have already made contact with Mandi's representatives in an effort to strike a deal.
West Ham United are also said to hold an interest in the versatile defender, who can play across the back four.
