Liverpool have reportedly become frontrunners to complete a deal for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho in the January transfer window.
Sancho, who has 17 goals and 20 assists in the Bundesliga since the start of last season, has put himself on the radar of several top clubs.
It is claimed that the Englishman has recently become unsettled at Dortmund following his perceived scapegoating by manager Lucien Favre last month.
Speaking on the subject of Sancho, former Premier League star and reporter Jan Aage Fjortoft said: "From a very good source in Germany: Klopp and Liverpool favorite to get Dortmund-player Sancho. Sancho wants to leave the club already in January."
Manchester United and Real Madrid have also been credited with showing a keen interest in signing Sancho.
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc recently made it clear that the club was not expecting the 20-year-old to leave over the January window.
