Liverpool and Fulham are locked in talks over a late loan move for Neco Williams, according to a report.
The Wales international has struggled to earn starts over Trent Alexander-Arnold this season and has been tipped to secure an exit in the January transfer window.
The Reds are reported to have agreed a deal with Fulham for teenage playmaker Fabio Carvalho, and according to The Athletic, Williams could still head in the other direction before the 11pm deadline.
The report adds that the two clubs are entering a 'crucial' period with regards to negotiations, with Fulham facing a race against time to get a loan move wrapped up late on Monday.
Liverpool have already seen Nat Phillips leave on loan for Bournemouth on deadline day, but it is unknown if Williams could be used directly in negotiations with Fulham for Carvalho.
The 20-year-old has registered two assists in eight appearances for Liverpool this season but has only made one substitute appearance in the Premier League.
