Liverpool have reportedly made Sevilla's Clement Lenglet their top defensive target for this summer.
According to Diario AS, Reds manager Jurgen Klopp views the Frenchman as the ideal long-term partner for fellow centre-back Virgil van Dijk.
Liverpool, however, could face steep competition for Lenglet's services, with Real Madrid and Barcelona also said to be on the hunt for the centre-back.
The 22-year-old reportedly has a release clause in his contract which can be triggered with a bid of around £40m.
Lenglet, who joined Sevilla from Nancy last year, has caps for France at various youth levels up to Under-21.
