Liverpool have reportedly made an offer of £26.9m for Trabzonspor teenager Abdulkadir Omur.
Omur will not be 20 until June but has already made 56 first-team appearances for Trabzonspor, scoring six times and registering 10 assists for the Turkish outfit.
Tottenham Hotspur have previously been linked with a move for the attacker, but according to Aksam, Liverpool have made an offer of just shy of £27m as they look to seal his signature this month.
Omur, who is capable of playing in a number of midfield positions, has managed two goals and four assists in 17 matches in all competitions for Trabzonspor during the 2018-19 campaign.
Liverpool will attempt to bounce back from Thursday's 2-1 defeat at Manchester City in the Premier League when they travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup on Monday night.
