Liverpool may reportedly make an approach for Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby during the summer transfer window.

Ibrahima Konate was the sole arrival at Anfield ahead of the new season, the Merseyside giants being prepared to spend £40m on the RB Leizpig defender.

However, Liverpool are expected to be more active during 2022, potentially in the final third given the uncertainty over a number of key men.

According to Calciomercato, Jurgen Klopp is interested in securing a deal for France international Diaby.

Since moving to the Bundesliga in 2019, the 22-year-old has chipped in with 12 goals and 18 assists from 66 appearances.

Diaby still has just under four years left on his contract, putting Leverkusen in a strong position with regards to his future. body check tags ::
