Liverpool have made contact with Brazilian side Vasco da Gama over the availability of teenage starlet Talles Magno, according to a report.
The 18-year-old has emerged as an exciting prospect over the last two seasons, having registered five goals in 10 appearances for the Brazil Under-17 side and two goals in the 2019 Brazilian Serie A campaign.
According to Yahoo Esportes, Liverpool have been impressed by the youngster's development and have approached Vasco over a possible move for Magno.
The 18-year-old is contracted to the Brazilian outfit until 2022 and possesses a £45m in his current deal, but given the financial concerns arising from the coronavirus pandemic, the report claims that Vasco would be open to parting ways with Magno for a cut-price figure of £18m.
However, Liverpool could face stiff competition for Magno's signature, with Lille, Paris Saint-Germain, Sevilla, FC Krasnodar and Bayer Leverkusen all credited with an interest in the highly-rated forward.
