Liverpool have reportedly overtaken Real Madrid as the new frontrunners to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.
The France international is due to be out of contract in a year's time and recently questioned whether PSG are still the right club for him.
Madrid have long been considered the favourites to land Mbappe, but The Mirror claims that Liverpool are now at the front of the queue.
The report suggests that the Reds are ready to make a formal move for the 22-year-old should his contract situation not be resolved soon.
Mbappe scored 42 goals and provided 10 assists across all competitions for PSG last season in what was his fourth campaign at the Parc des Princes.
