Liverpool are reportedly preparing an offer for Birmingham City goalkeeper Jack Butland.
The 19-year-old England international, who moved to St Andrews in 2007, made his Blues debut in yesterday's 1-1 draw with Charlton Athletic.
According to The People, Reds manager Brendan Rodgers views Butland as an ideal long-term replacement for Pepe Reina and he is willing to bid £7.5m for the highly-rated youngster.
Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton are also said to be interested in Butland's signature.
