Liverpool have reportedly rejected an offer from Crystal Palace for striker Christian Benteke.
Alan Pardew is believed to be keen to add the Belgian to his attacking ranks this season, but the Reds are said to be digging their heels in with regards to the price.
According to Sky Sports News, the Eagles have offered £23m rising to £30m with add-ons, but the Merseyside outfit have turned down their approach.
Liverpool spent £32.5m to sign Benteke from Aston Villa last year, but he has struggled to cement a regular spot in the first team.
After Jurgen Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers as manager last October, Benteke dropped down the pecking order behind Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi.
