Liverpool remain interested in Arnaut Danjuma?

Liverpool reportedly remain interested in signing Arnaut Danjuma, despite the winger only linking up with Villarreal during the summer.

Liverpool have reportedly identified Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma as a potential January transfer target.

The Premier League giants held an interest in the player earlier this year before the 24-year-old made the decision to move to La Liga.

Danjuma has since enjoyed an excellent start to the campaign, contributing seven goals and two assists in Spain's top flight and the Champions League.

Despite the likelihood of Villarreal rejecting any bid for his signature, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano says that Liverpool are monitoring the situation.

Speaking on the Here We Go Podcast, Romano suggests that Jurgen Klopp may move for Danjuma in January with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane due to spend time at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Danjuma penned a five-year contract when he signed on the dotted line at Estadio de la Ceramica in August. body check tags ::
