Liverpool have been linked with a summer swoop for out-of-favour Manchester City winger Adam Johnson.
The 24-year-old is thought to have been frustrated with a lack of opportunities at the Etihad Stadium following his £7m move from Middlesbrough two years ago.
New Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is reportedly considering a £16m switch for the England international.
Johnson started only 10 games for the Premier League champions last season.
