Alex Teixeira could reportedly become the latest player to move to the Chinese Super League.
Liverpool were known to be keen on the playmaker during the January transfer window, but they were not prepared to meet Shakhtar Donetsk's valuation.
It had been expected that the Merseysiders would renew their interest at the end of the season, but the 26-year-old is now bound for the Far East, according to the Daily Mail.
The report adds that Jiangsu Suning, who recently signed Teixeira's fellow Brazilian Ramires from Chelsea, are prepared to pay Shakhtar £35m.
The Chinese transfer window does not close until February 26.
