Stuttgart defender Benjamin Pavard has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Liverpool.
Earlier this month, Pavard was said to be interesting Tottenham Hotspur after making an impression in this season's Bundesliga.
However, according to the Daily Star, Mauricio Pochettino could face competition from Jurgen Klopp, with the boss of the Merseyside giants eyeing up a long-term partner for Virgil van Dijk.
Stuttgart are allegedly determined to keep hold of the 21-year-old, but the performances of the young centre-back are likely to lead to frequent interest in the player's signature.
Since signing from Lille in 2016, Pavard has made 49 appearances in the first team, while the Frenchman still has over three years remaining on his contract.
