Liverpool will reportedly stand firm on their £55m price tag for striker Luis Suarez if Real Madrid come calling.
Reports have claimed that the Spanish giants will try to snatch the Uruguay international from Anfield when the transfer window re-opens in January.
The 26-year-old tried to orchestrate a move away from Merseyside in the summer, but following a rejected £40,000,001 bid from Arsenal, the striker was forced to stay put.
It is understood that if Madrid approach the Reds in January, Liverpool will demand £55m, but will be more reluctant to sell if they are challenging for honours in the Premier League by that time, according to the Daily Mail.
Reports have claimed that Madrid may not push for a January move for Suarez, who is said to be keen on moving to the Bernabeu, if their form continues to improve in La Liga.
