Liverpool will reportedly send scouts to watch Olympiacos midfielder Aguibou Camara at next month's Africa Cup of Nations ahead of a proposed move next summer.
The 20-year-old has been called up to represent Guinea at this year's tournament held in Cameroon, where he will be hoping to add to his nine international caps.
Since joining Olympiacos from Lille over the summer, Camara has enjoyed an impressive 2021-22 campaign, scoring five goals and providing four assists in 25 appearances across all competitions.
The youngster's form for the Greek giants is believed to have caught the eye of a number of European clubs including Liverpool, Leicester City and Newcastle United.
According to Foot Mercato, the Reds are set to closely monitor Camara's development during AFCON before making an enquiry next summer.
The report adds that Olympiacos are aware of interest in Camara but they intend to play hardball with any clubs who are looking to enter negotiations for their midfielder starlet.
Camara, who is currently valued at around £15m, is under contract at the Karaiskaki Stadium until June 2025. body check tags ::
