Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Liverpool.
At the end of last month, it was claimed that Butland had set his sights on a switch to Anfield having earned England recognition during his time at the bet365 Stadium.
According to Bleacher Report, Butland could get his wish with Liverpool said to be preparing a big-money offer ahead of the next campaign.
Neither Simon Mignolet nor Loris Karius have established themselves as a concrete number one under Jurgen Klopp, and the German is allegedly prepared to make a change between the sticks.
Klopp has funds at his disposal after the Merseyside giants allowed Philippe Coutinho to move to Barcelona in a deal said to be worth over £140m.
Butland has made a total of 72 appearances for Stoke since the Potters paid Birmingham City a fee of £4m for his signature in January 2013.
