Liverpool have reportedly offered Italian striker Fabio Borini to Lazio as part of a player-plus-cash deal for their Nigerian midfielder Ogenyi Onazi.
Borini, 23, turned down a move to Sunderland over the summer, but has still struggled to play his way into Brendan Rodgers' side this season.
He has made just six appearances in the Premier League without scoring a single goal.
With Rodgers thought to be looking to strengthen his midfield, it appears that Liverpool are now ready to cash in on Lazio's long-term interest in Borini by offering him and £8m for Onazi's services, according to The Express.
Onazi, 22, has made 53 appearances for Lazio since making his debut in 2012, and has won 26 caps for Nigeria.
