Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Liverpool on Thursday, August 6.

After winning their first Premier League title in style, the pressure is now on Liverpool to retain their top-flight crown in 2020-21.

The new season begins in five weeks, meaning that there is still a little time for Jurgen Klopp to freshen up his side should he wish.

Liverpool continue to be linked with a number of players, while one or two fringe squad members could supposedly make way in the coming month.

Thursday morning's Liverpool transfer talk news roundup:

Liverpool one of three Premier League clubs interested in Ismaila Sarr?

Liverpool's attack is among the most formidable in world football, yet a new winger is thought to be high on Klopp's wishlist.

Watford's Ismaila Sarr is one of those to have been linked with a switch to Anfield, despite him suffering relegation to the Championship with his side in 2019-20.

The Senegal international enjoyed a productive debut campaign in the Premier League, scoring five goals and setting up four more, including a brace in February's shock 3-0 win over Liverpool.

The Watford Observer reports that Sarr caught the Reds' eye and is on their list of attacking targets, though Wolverhampton Wanderers and Crystal Palace have also showed an interest.

Liverpool looking to beat Leeds United to Ben White deal?

A new centre-back is likely to be a higher priority for Klopp following Dejan Lovren's exit to Zenit St Petersburg.

Ben White has attracted plenty of interest from Premier League clubs following a hugely successful spell on loan with Leeds United.

The Brighton & Hove Albion defender is a confirmed target for Leeds, but The Mirror suggests that Liverpool are also in the running for his signature.

White has a contract with Brighton until the end of the 2021-22 season.

Norwich City 'tell Liverpool to double £10m Jamal Lewis valuation'

Norwich City defender Jamal Lewis, another player who will be playing in the Championship next season as things stand, is also rumoured to be on Liverpool's radar.

As well as filling the void left by Lovren, versatile Lewis can also provide cover for Andrew Robertson at left-back if required.

According to The Telegraph, Norwich rejected a £12m bid from Palace earlier this year and are holding out for £20m for the 22-year-old.

Lewis made 33 appearances during the 2019-20 campaign and is one of a number of players to have been linked with a move away from Carrow Road following their relegation.
