Liverpool and Aston Villa are reportedly planning to move for Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton.
The 33-year-old has one year remaining on his Burnley contract and has piqued the interest of Jurgen Klopp, who is said to be looking to strengthen his goalkeeping department.
Veteran stopper Andy Lonergan travelled with the Reds on their pre-season tour of America, while Simon Mignolet has been linked with a move away.
The Daily Mail report that Heaton would provide back-up for Alisson, who joined Liverpool for a record £66.8m last year.
Aston Villa are also said to be interested in the England international as they look to provide competition for Jed Steer.
