Liverpool hope to name two Suarezes in their attack next season after identifying Anderlecht forward Matias Suarez as their top transfer target.
The Reds, who are planning to open talks over a new contract for Luis Suarez, have sent technical director Damien Comolli to watch the 23-year-old Argentinean on numerous occasions this season.
However, if Liverpool are to get their man, they will have to see off strong competition from 15 top clubs and stump up a substantial fee, according to Anderlecht manager Herman van Holsbeeck.
He told The Mirror: "There are 15 top clubs prepared to pay the money we want for Suarez and the fee could be higher than the money we received from Chelsea for Romelu Lukaku last year.
"Matias could have gone to Russia in the winter and also Juventus, but his wife Magali did not want to go.
"Do I think Suarez is worth more than Lukaku? Well, technically he is a better player."
Lukaku moved to Stamford Bridge in August 2011 for a fee which could rise to £18m.
