Liverpool have reportedly identified Brighton & Hove Albion centre-back Ben White as a possible replacement for Dejan Lovren.
White is yet to make a league appearance for his parent club but has impressed on loan at Leeds United in the early stages of the 2019-20 campaign, and the 22-year-old has not missed a single minute of Championship football for the Whites this term.
According to Football Insider, Liverpool scouts have been "blown away" by his development this season, and the Reds are now considering an approach for the defender in next summer's transfer window.
The report claims that White could be a replacement for Lovren, who was strongly linked with a move away from Anfield over the summer and is set to move on sooner or later.
Brighton allegedly value the Englishman at more than £20m due to his form this season, though, while a number of other Premier League clubs are also said to have been alerted to his potential.
Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez currently share the two centre-back spots at Anfield.
