The agent of Mamadou Sakho has denied suggestions that the Liverpool defender is close to joining Roma following his falling out with manager Jurgen Klopp.
Talk is rife that the France international is on his way out of Anfield after being banished from the Reds' pre-season tour of the United States for being late on three separate occasions.
Klopp has since insisted the matter is "nothing serious" and hinted that the centre-back could be back in contention later this summer.
Speaking to LaRoma24, representative Niakate Housseyni reiterated these thoughts by stressing that there was no heated argument between the two as previously reported.
"I haven't had any contact with Roma," Housseyni said. "He didn't have an argument with his manager, Jurgen Klopp. So he'll stay at Liverpool? Yes, he's a Liverpool player. I don't think Roma have that opportunity right now."
Sakho arrived at Liverpool from Paris Saint-Germain in an £18m deal three years ago, where he has since gone on to make 55 appearances.
