Liverpool could reportedly launch a surprise summer bid to sign Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart.
There have been suggestions of late that incoming City boss Pep Guardiola has instructed club officials to secure the services of Barcelona keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
That, in turn, has thrown Hart's long-term future at the Etihad Stadium into doubt.
According to France Football, the uncertainty has captured the attention of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
Simon Mignolet is the current number one at Anfield, but the Belgian has made a number of errors this season and it is thought that Klopp is keen to recruit a more reliable alternative.
