Manchester City are reportedly keeping a close eye on the developments surrounding Valencia attacker Ferran Torres as they weigh up a summer approach.
The 20-year-old will see his current deal at the Mestalla expire at the end of next season, and Los Che are allegedly finding it difficult to convince the Spaniard to pen an extension.
Barcelona are thought to have withdrawn their interest in the attacker, but a recent report claimed that Liverpool were considering a move during this summer's transfer window.
According to Corriere dello Sport, City are also monitoring developments as they are admirers of the Spain Under-21 international.
The release clause in the attacker's current deal is believed to stand in the region of €100m (£92.8m), although Los Che would not be in a position to demand that fee if they cannot agree a new contract.
Torres has scored six times and registered seven assists in 35 appearances at club level this term.
