AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has ruled out signing striker Andy Carroll from Liverpool this summer.
The Italian club were linked with a loan move for the England international earlier on Tuesday, but have recruited Spanish youngster Bojan Krkic from Roma instead.
"Bojan is a good signing and with him we close the transfer market," Galliani told reporters outside the club's headquarters on Tuesday evening.
"Tomorrow he will undergo his medical and he will be available for this weekend's trip to Bologna.
"Carroll on loan from Liverpool? We have completed our selection of forwards and will not be buying any more."
Carroll's future at Liverpool under manager Brendan Rodgers is in doubt, with Newcastle United still interested in the 23-year-old.
