MLS outfit Real Salt Lake have reportedly had a bid turned down for Liverpool youngster Brooks Lennon.
The 19-year-old American forward moved to the Reds from Salt Lake's academy in the summer of 2015 and has impressed with his performances for the Under-23s side.
According to ESPN, Salt Lake made an offer for Lennon earlier this month but were rejected as the bid "fell well short" of Liverpool's valuation.
The publication claims that the side could now return with an improved offer or propose a loan switch in order to get the deal done ahead of the new MLS season beginning in March.
Lennon, who has yet to make a first-team appearance for Jurgen Klopp's side, turned out as part of the Under-23s squad that lost to Manchester United's Under-23s in the Premier League 2 last night.
