Crystal Palace are reportedly hopeful of signing Christian Benteke from Liverpool this summer.
Negotiations between the two clubs appeared to have broken down after the Eagles saw a £25m bid rejected at the start of July, with Liverpool keen to recoup as much as possible of the £32.5m they paid for the striker last summer.
However, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp last week hinted that Benteke was not in his first-team plans, prompting Palace to reopen talks with the Merseysiders.
The Telegraph reports that Palace are willing to match Benteke's £120,000-a-week wages, while the player himself is thought to be keen on a move to Selhurst Park.
The two clubs are now wrangling over a price for the 25-year-old, who would become Palace's fourth signing of the summer.
The Eagles are known to be in the market for a striker this summer, and previously failed in an attempt to sign Michy Batshuayi before the Belgian joined Chelsea.
