Liverpool have reportedly been informed that it will cost them £70m in order to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita.
Last season, Keita contributed eight goals and seven assists from 31 appearances as Leipzig claimed second place in the Bundesliga table.
It also led to qualification for the Champions League, but a number of their star men have been linked with a move elsewhere during the transfer window.
Officials for Leipzig have previously insisted that the 22-year-old will not be sold ahead of the next campaign but according to The Guardian, they are now willing to entertain bids of £70m.
Should they be successful in receiving an offer of that size, it would represent a 700% increase on the £10m they paid for his signature last summer.
The agent of Emil Forsberg - who also starred for Leipzig last season - has recently spoken of his frustration over the club's current stance towards transfers.
