Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has reportedly remained on the radar of Real Madrid ahead of the summer transfer window.

While the Senegal international has been linked with a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu in the past, no deal has ever been close to completion.

However, with the 29-year-old's contract at Anfield due to expire in 2023, a switch could become more realistic ahead of the next campaign.

According to Fichajes, Los Blancos will consider moving for Mane if they are unable to sign Kylian Mbappe and Erling Braut Haaland.

Much may depend on whether Mbappe departs Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer, and who Haaland chooses to join if he leaves Borussia Dortmund.

Although the report indicates that the Merseyside giants are against a sale, they may be left in a position where a sale makes sense for all parties if Mane chooses to take on a new challenge.
