Real Madrid reportedly have no intention of selling Rodrygo amid suggestions that Liverpool are lining up a January move for the Brazil international.
The 20-year-old has been an important player for Los Blancos during the 2021-22 campaign, making 19 appearances in all competitions, scoring twice and contributing two assists.
A recent report claimed that Liverpool are lining up a €80m (£68m) January offer for the South American, having identified him as a leading transfer target.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Carlo Ancelotti's side 'have no plan to offload or sell' the attacker at the start of 2022.
Romano also claims, via his official Twitter account, that there has not been any discussions between Real Madrid and Liverpool, with the Spanish giants keen to open talks over a new deal at Bernabeu.
Rodrygo, who arrived at Los Blancos from Santos in July 2019, still has three-and-a-half years left to run on his current agreement with the La Liga leaders.
