Liverpool are reportedly ready to offer Raheem Sterling a new contract in an attempt to secure the young winger's long-term future at Anfield.
Sterling, whose current £100,000-per-year deal expires in the summer of 2015, has been a revelation for the Reds this season.
The 17-year-old has featured in all but one of the club's 12 Premier League games and made his senior international debut in England's 4-2 defeat to Sweden last week.
According to The Mirror, Sterling will be offered an improved wage of £30,000 per week, which will rise further as he makes groups of appearances.
Sterling moved to Anfield in February 2010, having previously been on the books at Queens Park Rangers.
