Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp will reportedly hold a meeting with the club's chairman Tony Fernandes this week over January signings.
According to the Daily Mail, the 65-year-old wants to sign midfielder Joe Cole from Liverpool and Shanghai Shenhua's Nicolas Anelka next month.
Redknapp has been reportedly given £10m to spend on new players in January, but could have to make do with loan moves.
It has also been reported that QPR will make an official approach to Tottenham Hotspur for coach Les Ferdinand and are also interested in adding Clive Allen to their coaching setup.
