Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a swoop for out-of-favour Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge when the transfer window reopens in January.
The 27-year-old has been a regular among the substitutes' bench this season, with manager Jurgen Klopp preferring to start Roberto Firmino alongside Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane.
Sturridge, who recently rejected suggestions that he is not a team player, has started just four Premier League games in the current campaign.
Due to the forward's lack of match time, there are reports that he will seek a move away from Anfield in January, and according to Bleacher Report, Spurs may be one of the clubs interested in acquiring his services.
The North London outfit, who currently sit five points adrift of leaders Liverpool in the table, have struggled for goals of late, having scored just three in their last four top-flight fixtures.
Sturridge has netted four times this season, but all of those goals were in the EFL Cup.
