Virgil van Dijk will reportedly become Liverpool's highest-paid player ever after rejecting a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Dutch centre-back is said to have been targeted by PSG ahead of the summer transfer window following another hugely successful campaign at Anfield.
According to The Sun, however, Van Dijk knocked back the Ligue 1 champions' advances and is now set to pen fresh terms with the Reds.
Liverpool are said to be willing to hand the 28-year-old a five-year contract worth £220,000 a week, which is a substantial increase on his current £180,000 weekly salary.
Mohamed Salah is believed to be the Merseyside outfit's current highest earner on £200,000 a week, having agreed fresh terms in July 2018.
Jurgen Klopp's side are potentially just one victory away from winning a first Premier League title ahead of their return to action against Everton next week.
