The agent of Fiorentina hitman Giuseppe Rossi has moved to rule out the prospect of his client joining Liverpool this summer.
It has been reported that manager Brendan Rodgers turned his attentions toward the Italian after Loic Remy's switch to Anfield fell through.
The 27-year-old is thought to have a £28m buyout clause in his current contract - which expires in 2017 - but Andrea Pastorello rubbishes the reports that his client is heading to Merseyside.
"There is nothing to comment because there is nothing between Giuseppe Rossi and Liverpool," he told Tuttomercato.
"This is something that comes from the English sites but I don't know anything about it.
"Besides, there are good relations with Liverpool, so they would have called me if they wanted Rossi. But, seriously, we're talking about something that does not exist."
Rossi endured an injury-hit 2013-14 campaign in Serie A, but still managed to bag 16 goals in 22 league appearances.
