Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho has completed his move to Crystal Palace, joining the Eagles on loan until the end of the season.
Sakho had been widely expected to leave during the January transfer window having been frozen out by manager Jurgen Klopp since being sent home early from the club's pre-season tour of the United States for disciplinary reasons.
The likes of Southampton, Swansea City, Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain were all linked with the France international, but Palace emerged as frontrunners for his signature during the closing stages of the window.
Liverpool are understood to have favoured a permanent deal for the 26-year-old, but have settled for a £2m loan fee from the Eagles, who will also pay the player's full wages.
The deal was completed shortly before the 11pm deadline following Palace's 2-0 win over Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium - Sam Allardyce's first league win in charge of the club.
Sakho could be available to make his Palace debut at home to relegation rivals Sunderland on Saturday.
