Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah has insisted that "there are many things people do not know" about his contract negotiations with Liverpool.
The 29-year-old's current terms at Anfield are due to expire in the summer of 2023, although he is supposedly determined to come to an agreement with the club over a new contract.
However, lengthy negotiations are yet to lead to a positive solution, and Salah has remained tight-lipped over the prospect of signing a new deal with Jurgen Klopp's side.
"What I can say is that there are many things that people do not know about it," Salah told Sky Sports News. "I cannot be selfish, I am talking about my situation.
"We are in the most important period for the team so I have to just talk about the team and focus on the team. Is it going to be sorted? I can't say yes and I can't say no. I have said many times before what I want."
Salah has amassed 28 goals and 10 assists from 38 games in all competitions this season but has only found the back of the net once in his last four Premier League matches. body check tags ::
