Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined Liverpool in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi during the summer transfer window.
The 29-year-old is seemingly out of favour at the Parc des Princes and could be on his way at the end of the current campaign, according to The Sun.
It is suggested that Lavezzi, who has also been linked with moves to Juventus and Atletico Madrid in recent times, may be used as a makeweight by manager Laurent Blanc to land one of Spurs's current stars.
While Liverpool are also rumoured to be interested, viewing the Argentina international as a replacement for the out-of-favour Mario Balotelli, it is thought that the North London outfit currently lead the chase for the attacking talent's signature.
Lavezzi has scored just four goals for PSG this term, the last of which came in a 2-2 draw against Caen in mid-February.
