Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller reportedly refused to consider moving to Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
The 28-year-old, who has previously been a rumoured target for Manchester United, was linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena due to being in and out of Carlo Ancelotti's first XI.
It is believed that the German World Cup winner was wanted by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as a replacement for Philippe Coutinho, who tried to instigate a move to Barcelona.
However, according to Bild, Muller was unwilling to even think about switching to the Merseyside club, which is reportedly why the Reds refused to sell their Brazilian playmaker to the Spanish giants.
Muller has been with the Bavarians for his entire career, and in that time has won 17 trophies, including six Bundesliga crowns and the Champions League.
