Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool could reportedly battle for the signature of Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips during next summer's transfer window.
The 24-year-old has impressed for the Whites in the early stages of the 2020-21 campaign and has also worked his way into the England set up, earning caps against Wales, Belgium and Denmark this month.
Phillips only signed a new long-term deal with Marcelo Bielsa's side last September and still has four years left to run on his current contract with last season's Championship winners.
However, according to The Mirror, Phillips is expected to spark a scramble at the end of the season, and both Tottenham and Liverpool are in the hunt for the £50m-rated midfielder.
The report claims that Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is an admirer of the Englishman, while Liverpool are likely to be in the market next summer for a Georginio Wijnaldum replacement and could target the Leeds academy product.
Phillips has scored 12 times and contributed 11 assists in 185 outings for the Whites in all competitions.
