West Bromwich Albion have reportedly opened talks with Liverpool over a move for striker Rickie Lambert.
Baggies boss Tony Pulis recently confirmed that he is keen on signing the 33-year-old England international.
Lambert is expected to struggle for first-team action at Anfield this season following the arrivals of Divock Origi, Danny Ings and Christian Benteke.
West Brom and Liverpool are now in discussions with the aim to settle a deal before the start of the new campaign, according to Sky Sports News.
Lambert scored three goals in 36 appearances for the Merseysiders last term after joining the club from Southampton for £4m.
