Wolfsburg have reportedly decided against pushing through a permanent deal for Liverpool forward Divock Origi.
Last summer, Liverpool allowed Origi to spend the season on loan at the Bundesliga club and the attacker initially impressed with four goals by the start of November.
However, Origi has netted just once in his last 18 outings and according to Kicker, that has resulted in Wolfsburg scrapping any plans to sign the Belgian international.
Wolfsburg are currently fighting to remain in Germany's top flight, and relegation to the second tier would likely see the club unable to afford the 22-year-old.
Origi has just over a year remaining on his contract at Anfield.
