Croatia manager Zlatko Dalic has confirmed that he will talk to Dejan Lovren following his apparent boast about deliberately elbowing Sergio Ramos on Thursday night.
Croatia beat Spain 3-2 to blow their UEFA Nations League group wide open, after which Lovren was caught on an Instagram live video claiming that he had "elbowed him good" in reference to Ramos.
The comments came months after Ramos injured Mohamed Salah - a close friend of Lovren - during last season's Champions League final between Real Madrid and Liverpool.
Dalic has now confirmed that he will have a private word with the defender ahead of Sunday's Wembley clash with England.
"I will talk personally with Dejan but that will remain between us and the squad. I don't want to talk publicly about it," Dalic told reporters.
Croatia and England could both still either win Group A4 or finish bottom and be relegated depending on Sunday's result at Wembley.
