Thomas Heurtaux scored the winner in the second half as Udinese came out 2-1 winners over Livorno in this evening's Serie A meeting.
The visitors took an early lead through French striker Nicolas Lopez, who beat Livorno goalkeeper Francesco Bardi with a left-footed strike from a tight angle in the 11th minute.
Their advantage lasted until just after the half-hour mark when Luca Siligardi latched onto a headed pass from Paulinho inside the box and ushered the ball into the bottom corner.
Udinese had to wait until midway into the second half to score their winner, defender Heurtaux taping home a poacher's goal from close range following a corner to secure maximum points for the visitors.
