Dijon remain in the drop zone of Ligue 1 after seeing out a goalless draw against Lorient.

The away side started off brightly against Lorient, with Eric Bautheac trying to test the keeper by forcing a save from a left-footed shot from outside the box in the early stages of the half.

The contest began to even itself out as the half went on, with Dijon coming close to finding the breakthrough with a blocked shot from Joel Campbell.

Neither side could find the net in the first 45 minutes, despite Dijon being desperate to pull themselves out of the relegation scrap.

The second half began similarly to the opening stages with both teams cancelling each other out and missed opportunities dominating play.

Bautheac tried to make the difference for Dijon but had no luck as a right-footed shot from a corner proved unsuccessful.
