Paris Saint-Germain have extended their lead at the top of Ligue 1 to 13 points with a 2-1 victory over Lorient this evening.
It was Lorient who started as the better side though, with Kevin Trapp pushing away shots from Raphael Guerreiro and Benjamin Jeannot.
PSG went ahead after 27 minutes when Hervin Ongenda netted his first goal for the French champions.
Six minutes later, Blaise Matuidi turned home Zlatan Ibrahimovic's cross as the visitors began to gain control of proceedings.
However, Laurent Blanc's side had Trapp to thank once again shortly before half time as the goalkeeper denied Vincent Le Goff with a reaction save.
Guerreiro curled another effort narrowly wide five minutes after the interval before Matuidi's header was hacked off the line at the other end.
Benjamin Moukandjo halved the deficit with eight minutes remaining, although the visitors responded well as Gregory van der Wiel and Ibrahimovic were both denied by Benjamin Lecomte.
Lorient were unable to capitalise on Moukandjo's goal in the latter stages as PSG coasted to their eighth straight league win.
