Lorient have completed the signing of former France international Ludovic Guily.

The 36-year-old had been available on a free transfer for a short space of time following his release from Monaco earlier this summer.

Discussing his new club, the attacking midfielder feels that they play a style of football should suit his game.

"I am very happy to arrive at FC Lorient," he said. "This is a club that suits me because there is a lot of enjoyment in their play, something that has been instilled in them by their great coach, Christian Gourcuff.

"I know that they are counting on me on the field and in the dressing room, and I will give everything to have a great adventure with FCL."

Guily has previously played for Barcelona, Roma and Paris Saint-Germain.
